I’ve been practicing yoga for a while. Can I continue to attend normal classes or should I switch to prenatal classes ? and when? As long as you feel comfortable attending regular classes and are able to follow them, you can continue your normal practice. Please inform the instructor that you are pregnant, as modification of certain poses will be necessary.
At some point, you may want to consider joining a prenatal class because of the tailored preparation for labor and childbirth that it offers. Also, you will certainly enjoy and benefit from the community and support of other pregnant yoginis.
